    Tomahawk fogger

    By Lawn on 09/11/2020

Fogger does good just noticed that several places that have a union on the plastic pieces leak, think that it should be one piece instead of two and wouldn't leak then. Also one of the suction hoses on the tank leaks really bad and drips on you while using.

    Tomahawk Mister

    By Geoffrey on 09/28/2020

Blower/mister appears to work as advertised. Assembly is straightforward. instructions are spare and incomplete. There are no instructions for use as a leaf blower or for use with dry insecticide. The website also does not have that information for this unit. The manufacturer did not respond to my e-mail requesting that information (Three weeks and waiting). Two components for dry insecticide use were not shipped with the unit. I will be requesting replacements.

    Hopyard Sprayer

    By Kevin on 07/29/2020

Just purchased and used once. I'm impressed with the vertical spraying 20' distance. Gased it up, primed the bulb, and it started in 3 pulls. It idled down nicely after using 3 gallons of solution. A bit heavy to lift off the ground when full - almost 65 lbs. I suggest filling it up on a table/stool to get on your back without any help required. This looks to be a well made product. I'm happy with my purchase

    WOW LOVE THIS MACHINE!

    By Donnie on 07/03/2020

I have used it at my home and at my property at North and within 15 minutes can tell a huge difference in mosquitoes in pesky bugs. Don't know how I made it this long without it definitely a great machine if slong as it last it will be one of my best investments.

    TMD review

    By Ed on 09/23/2020

Early review, haven't had long enough to speak to durability. Assembled easily. Starts and runs fine. Not too noisy not too much vibration. Does well and covers a lot of area quickly. Things to note: Full of fluid it is heavy. Throttle bogs a little, not a big deal if it doesn't get worse. If you intend to use as a blower, be aware you have to keep fluid in the tank anytime it is running, even just blowing leaves.

    Mistblower

    By Kaleb on 10/02/2020

I was skeptical at first due to the price difference of this compared to Solo and Stihl but honestly this is a good unit. The holding tank is smaller then what I thought so if your going to do anything other then residential and smaller commercial properties I would suggest getting a larger unit. This fires up on the first try. The only thing I would suggest to the makers is that the screw which comes with the system to attach and tighten the throttle control to the units blower arm is not long enough. I had to go to HomeDepot to getting a longer screw to tighten the throttle arm to the blower arm, little inconvenient. I would recommend this unit for other pros out there.

    Intrigued but time will tell..

    By Marcus on 05/05/2023

I wish i could give 3.5 stars for now, mainly just for the fact that i can now 'domyown' lawn treatments. So far ive only used it once. The unit does take some getting used to. I use both a 4 gallon backpack lithium powered sprayer for herbicide application and a blower for lawn use. I thought this would be the best of both worlds. Turns out, its a bit awkward. First off its HEAVY when filled and oddly balanced. You must mix the solution on a tailgate or elevated platform, because 4 gallons of solution, plus a two-stroke engine require some might to handle. First time i used it, i mixed the solution from the ground and was barely able to get it up. I had to tilt it in order to get the straps on my back and hoist it up. In doing so, i ended up spilling a good bit of solution. Once i got it on my back, i couldn't tell if it was leaking or if it was just wet from when i spilled it earlier. Also, the straps are poorly made. They come off pretty easily at the bottom where they attach to the unit. Once i got it up and going, it was easy to use and apply the treatment on my property. The mist flowed good and had a good distance. I was able to shoot solution way up towards the tops of my green giants which was awesome. I could also easily adjust the pattern and amount of solution being sprayed which i thought was a good feature. So far we havent been bothered with insects over the last 3 weeks since the first application. All in all, I'm satisfied, but with a few reservations. Eventually i'll figure out a process and im sure my experience will get better. However, i would recommend to the manufacturer that they come up with a better way to balance and distribute the weight of the unti when filled. Also, the straps need to be re-engineered as they pop off pretty easily.

Tomahawk Turbo Fogger for Mosquito spraying

    By Jeff on 05/19/2023

I just started this business to go along with wildlife control. Shipping was quick and packed well. I watched set up video on You Tube. That was easy. Then checked all hose conections to assure proper fitting and hose clamp fully on. I set throttle to half, choked a couple pulls, then started. Make sure water to mister is shut off. I poured in 1 gallon of water and marked tank with permanent marker. Then another gallon and so on. Spray just water 1st to make sure no leak. Mine worked great. Calibrating takes a little practice, just a few tankfuls. Then your in business. I use canned 2 cycle gas same as my chain saw. It keeps very well. Also Parts are available which is necessesary for any tool you buy.

Not a good product at all!

    By Jeff on 08/26/2024

The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because it does do a good job for the short time it runs at covering the intended area. Now for the cons - Bought two so I could have an extra battery. The two batteries can not get me through a days worth of spraying for mosquitoes. Not even close. I have only probably used them a dozen times and they seem to get less and less time. The liquid on off valve requires you to reach over with your left hand and turn off. Meanwhile the liquid is pouring out. Can't be done with one hand. Not sturdy. Have things cracking and tubes constantly falling off. I have added extra clips that were not provided. Not well built. I use another orange colored gas machine where gas powered is allowed. The two machines are not even comparable. I wanted to like this and am not one to write bad reviews but no way you could run a mosquito business with these backpacks. Lets hope something new and better comes out at a reasonable price.
