*To avoid damage to the unit while using as a leaf blower, the manufacturer states to add 1 cup of water in the tank and turn the liquid flow valve to the off position to keep the water in the tank. This will avoid damaging the turbo booster.

Fogger does good just noticed that several places that have a union on the plastic pieces leak, think that it should be one piece instead of two and wouldn’t leak then. Also one of the suction hoses on the tank leaks really bad and drips on you while using.

Just purchased and used once. I'm impressed with the vertical spraying 20' distance. Gased it up, primed the bulb, and it started in 3 pulls. It idled down nicely after using 3 gallons of solution. A bit heavy to lift off the ground when full - almost 65 lbs. I suggest filling it up on a table/stool to get on your back without any help required. This looks to be a well made product. I'm happy with my purchase

Blower/mister appears to work as advertised. Assembly is straightforward. instructions are spare and incomplete. There are no instructions for use as a leaf blower or for use with dry insecticide. The website also does not have that information for this unit. The manufacturer did not respond to my e-mail requesting that information (Three weeks and waiting). Two components for dry insecticide use were not shipped with the unit. I will be requesting replacements.

Tomahawk Power Mist Blower TMD14 with Turbo Boost can be used with most pesticides, there is not a certain grade.

This would be for exterior perimeter application
We recommend using the lowest setting of the Tomahawk Power Backpack Fogger TMD14 with Turbo Boost with the blower wide open to move the leaves around on the plants while spraying. Make sure to coat the shrubs as much as possible concentrating on the undersides of the leaves. You can use 0.8 oz of Cyzmic and an ounce of Tekko per gallon of water for moquitoes and most other pests.
Tomahawk Power Mist Blower TMD14 with Turbo Boost is perfect to spray water based pesticides, sanitizers and as well as other products. We would advise you contact the manufacturer of the mist blower to make sure the product you will be using is safe to apply in their equipment. You can contact Tomahawk Power at (866) 577-4476.
The Tomahawk Power Backpack Fogger TMD14 with Turbo Boost is a mister, not a fogger. You can set the setting on the side of the hose to the lowest setting for about a 50-micron level when blowing at full speed.
I want to spray for lace bugs on avocado trees which are on the underside of leaves.
Yes, you can use the Tomahawk Mist Blower TMD14 or just about any other similar product for spraying your trees and other crops or ornamentals. Of course, just be sure that the product you are using is labeled for application in a mister blower.
