Why does trap 603SS appear to have dividers on the inside? What do you use for bait?

Tomahawk Pro Rigid Live Trap for squirrel, rat, muskrat & similar sized animals - Model 603SS does not have dividers. The lines you see are actually to reinforce this heavy duty trap to keep it together.
