Tomahawk Live Trap

I've finally caught all of them, twelve prairie dogs, and have removed them from my yard--alive. The trap works well and is well built for many years of use, which I'm sure I'll need. However, I would think that in our day of technology that the trigger mechanism could be improved. It took some tweaking to get it to work well for the light weight prairie dogs, and even then, it did not work as I would like it to. It's easy for the bait to get underneath the trip pan and therefore not work at all, or the trigger that releases the trap door to be too tight or too lose. It takes too much fiddling to get it just right. It needs rethought, re-engineered in my opinion.
With the Tomahawk Professional Series Multi-Purpose Live Trap, the animal would get caught in between the second door and the pedal inside of the trap. The front part of the trap is removable.
