Tomahawk Original Series 608.1 is a rigid live trap with one trap door and an easy release back door designed to catch raccoons, feral cats, badgers, woodchucks, armadillos and similar sized animals. Excellent Trap !

Used this trap for many years. Caught a coon so big he couldn't turn around in trap. Countless ferals cats caught. Nothing ever gets away from this trap althought a big coon will roll the trap around. Trigger is easy to adjust from heavy to hair trigger. Bait set well back makes target animal press the trigger plate. Never harmed an animal yet. This one is a sure thing !

So far I am very pleased with my trap. I have had other brands but I love thus one. I love the open end and the hook attached to the cage so u don't have to worry about setting it out and losing it. I also love the close wire on one end and the larger open wire on the other end so you can shoot through the larger end without messing up the cage

Tomahawk Rigid Trap Easy Release Door Model 608 1 is designed to hold raccoons and we have not heard of any issues of them getting out with it.

The Tomahawk Rigid Trap Easy Release Door Model 608.1 (Raccoon sized animals) does not have a lock on the door, once animals enter and set off the trap the door closes and they are not able to push it back up.
