Easy enough to setup, but useless. I bought 4 of these, needing to trap mice in garage, shed and crawl space. After 2 days and no catches I found one of my old cheap ones, the ones that are scary to set, and in a 24 hour period I had caught 3 mice with one trap and still none for these, will not buy these again.
On the bottom of the Trapper Hidden Kill Mouse Trap, there is a removable bait cup that in the bottom of the trap that the bait is used inside of it. To set the trap, there is rectangular piece of plastic at the top of the circle piece that you will pull out. Once you have done this, you will place the trap in the area where you have seen activity. There is an indicator light that lets you know if there is a rodent inside.

There is a removable bait cup under the round area of the Trapper Hidden Kill Mouse Trap where the mouse goes. You can access it from the bottom of the trap by twisting to remove, place bait inside and replace back in trap.

The Trapper Hidden Kill Mouse Trap will have an indicator on the trap if a mouse is caught inside. If left for a long period without discarding the rodent carcass, it could possibly smell.

Is it the same bar mechanism quick kill method? If so, I know over time this mechanism's spring can be compromised. How often can this trap be used to be sure to remain most effectively humane?
