    Q
How are roaches attracted to the Trapper monitor/insect trap?
    A
The Trapper Insect Monitoring traps do not have an attractant. They are just a monitoring tool. The traps should be placed where insects or roaches may harbor. They will get stuck on the trap as they travel.  These traps are perfect for placement inside and underneath cabinets, under or behind appliances, etc.

    Q
Does the Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600 - CASE (100 traps) work for collecting mites for identification purposes?
The mites are REALLY tiny I suspect that they are fur mites from my rabbit) so not sure if this product would be helpful. The only way I've been able to catch one is that I saw it crawling on my computer screen (so it was back lit) and I used piece of tape to capture it, but would like to have another sample to evaluate
    A

Yes, you could try to use the trap to capture them for identification. We recommend that you contact your local cooperative extension office. Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Q
What surface of the Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600 has the glue?
There's the adhesive but does the cellophane-like material act like glue?
    A

There is a small portion of adhesive on the back of the Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600 - CASE (100 traps) to stick to surfaces and on the interior portion of the trap. There is an area on the outside, visible portion to record service dates, etc. You will need to remove the plastic covering to expose the glue to catch insects.

    Q
Can the Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600 be used for a little flying moths?
    A

Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600 is a non-poisonous glue trap that captures and monitors many types of insects that land on the glue.  If the insect you are trying to trap were to land on it, then it is likely that the insect would then be trapped by the glue on.

Please review our Moth Traps Page for traps specific for the type of moth you are treating for (Pantry Moths, Clothes Moths, Indian Meal Moths, Stored Product Moths, Food Moths, etc).
