The Trapper Monitor and Insect Trap - TM2600 is a non-poisonous glue trap that captures and monitors insects. Pest control professionals use these traps to accurately determine the location, species and severity of insect infestations. The sturdy 7" x 3.5" cardboard trap can be used individually as a large trap (100 per box) or separated along perforated lines into three smaller traps (making 300 total small traps). The traps contain an adhesive backing which allows them to be stuck to almost any surface. There is a space to record the date and location of use.

This was the best price I could find. We have used these types of traps before and wanted to stock up. Because of the low price and shipping we were able to put them all over the house. Our spider problem is quickly improving!
These are working really well for us. I like that we break the traps into smaller ones, which is much more economical than using a large one when a small will do. we don't actually use the commitment flaps on the larger or medium (two sections) ones, so I can't really rate them (was afraid it would deter the roaches).
Only problem is that we usually have to use double sided tape to help the traps lay flush, as the sticky trip in the bottom is enough to keep it stuck on the ground, but doesn't help it lay flat.
This is my second time ordering this product. They are easy to use. I use them in my home corners and by doors. Also, great in the garage corners. They trap spiders and crickets really good. After a month toss in trash and put a new one out. It's that easy.
How are roaches attracted to the Trapper monitor/insect trap?
The Trapper Insect Monitoring traps do not have an attractant. They are just a monitoring tool. The traps should be placed where insects or roaches may harbor. They will get stuck on the trap as they travel. These traps are perfect for placement inside and underneath cabinets, under or behind appliances, etc.
How many traps come in a case of Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600?
These traps come in strips of 3 as shown in your picture. Are there 100 strips of 3 traps in a case (300 individual traps) or are there only 100 traps (33 strips of three plus 1 individual trap)? Amazon has these for half the price. You get 90 individual traps for $24.99. http://www.amazon.com/Trapper-Insect-Great-Spiders-Cockroaches/dp/B002Y6JHES/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1380347083&sr=8-1&keywords=trapper+insect+trap Let me know. Does the Trapper Monitor/Insect Trap TM2600 - CASE (100 traps) work for collecting mites for identification purposes?
The mites are REALLY tiny I suspect that they are fur mites from my rabbit) so not sure if this product would be helpful. The only way I've been able to catch one is that I saw it crawling on my computer screen (so it was back lit) and I used piece of tape to capture it, but would like to have another sample to evaluate
Yes, you could try to use the trap to capture them for identification. We recommend that you contact your local cooperative extension office. Please let us know if you need anything else.
