Weeds Were Taking Over
By Natalie on 03/02/2013
Drought conditions continue in Central Texas, which has taken a toll on my once beautiful St. Augustine grass. Each year more and more weeds have popped up to the point that I was afraid that the St. Augustine had been choked completely out. The types of weeds were also of a variety ranging from the usual dandelions with and without thorns to all kinds of creeping ones like chickweed and hen pen. I had to find something that actually worked so I relied upon some advise from our local county extension agent. He highly recommended a post-emergient called Trimec. With some hesitation, I ordered Trimec. It's been two weeks since I applied it to my entire yard and it is very evident that Trimec works!

My experience
By Dwaine on 04/19/2013
Absolutely knocked the weeds down..!! This product lived up to my expectations and more. Weeds that EndRun had little affect on, felt the power of 992 within hours after application. *** If you have tough weeds in your yard, Trimec 992 will solve your problem in one application.

Oxalis Terminator
By Anonymous on 06/25/2013
I'm in Southern California and have Bermuda grass with that devil oxalis weed since buying the house in '94. Had not been able to kill it off with anything until now with Trimec 992. Husband and I applied it with the hose end sprayer also ordered from here. Immediate results! It did not harm the lawn. Will be putting down a second application this weekend and spot treating thereafter - if necessary, but doubt it will be needed. You can do a second application in 3 weeks. We are SO thrilled with this stuff - it is well worth the money. You will not be disappointed. Be advised it is a very strong pro formula. Would suggest wearing a mask to cover nose and mouth so you're not getting the fumes during application.

Our house is on a property with well water. The well is just over 100 feet deep.
Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide and other herbicides application are recommended to be kept at least 10 feet away from a well or cistern.
How close can you spray trimec to a water well
Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide needs to be kept at least 10 feet from a well or cistern.
If you are certain the Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide froze, you may not get the results you are seeking so you will want to get a new bottle. It should not be frozen and it should be kept away from extreme heat as well for the most effective results.

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide does not list Common Mullein as one of the weeds controlled on the produt label.
Fertilome Weed Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec Herbicide is labeled for Common Mullein. This being a difficult weed to kill due to the hairs covering the leaves that intercept herbicides and prevent them from entering the plant, control measures other than chemical are often used. Mowing can be used to inhibit flower formation, but if mowing is not repeated then rosettes will form other flowers.
Please refer to the Application Table on product label for mix rates.
Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled to treat lawn burweed and puncturevine (goathead), however it is not labeled to control sandbur. If you need to control field sandbur in Bermuda turfgrass, then we recommend using Image Kills Nutsedge. Keep in mind that these weeds will spread easily where turfgrass is weak and thin, so taking good care of your lawn is the best prevention. We have more tips in our Bermuda Grass Care Guide here.

Yes, Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled to control clover
The sludge was so thick the sprayer stopped spraying properly. I agitated the product very well to begin with, it seemed very oily.
Please provide us with the following information in order to better troubleshoot what may have caused this buildup in the bottom of your tank sprayer.

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide does not specifically label iris so it could potentially cause harm to them. Please provide the targeted pest for an alternate recommendation. Thank you!
I own a Residential Golf Game. Need supplies/Everything from Seed to Insect control. Looking for a supplier similar to what a golf course would need only smaller.
Trimec 992 can be used on creeping bentgrass on golf fairways and roughs only (not greens). Be sure to review the product label to be sure it is appropriate for your needs.
