    How many pounds of seed per 1000 sq ft will I need for a new lawn?

    Turf Blue Pro with Yellow Jacket is applied at 2-3 lbs if new lawn and 1-2lbs if overseeding.

    What is the setting on the Scotts Turf Builder Edgeguard Mini to overseed with Turf Blue Pro with Yellow Jacket at 1-2lbs per 1000 sq ft?
    A

    Unfortunately we do not have the spreader settings for that specific combo and the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates.

    The seeding rate for Turf Blue Pro with Yellow Jacket is 1-2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. for overseeding, and 2-3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. for new seeding.  Based on the areas you are covering, it sounds as if you have enough seed for your application goals.
