The absolute best grass seed on the market!

If your looking for a grass seed that gives you that golf course look and feel I highly recommend Barenbrug Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket. It's Extremely fast germinating and quick to establish, grass grew extremely well within 7 days. It has excellent traffic tolerance and recovery along with the ability to recover from extreme wear and use. Strong disease resistance and insect tolerance too. This is the absolute best grass seed I have ever use and will now be using Barenbrug Turf Star RPR with Yellow Jacket exclusively on my lawn from now on.

Great looking grass that handles foot traffic well

Did a lot of research for best grass for my area (Pacific NW) and this was one of them. The product grows fast and tall but you can cut it extremely short. Mowing with a reel mower makes it look amazing. Just remember, only get this if you plan to mow 2 - 3 times a week.

Best Seed for Beginners

My lawncare knowledge went from 0-60 when I started in April of 2021. I knew nothing beyond knowing how to mow and even that I didn't understand what a proper mow was. FF to late summer/early fall, after armyworms destroyed 50% of my backyard before I even knew what an armyworm was and how to get rid of them. How was I, a total novice going to pull off an overseeding project? Thanks to RPR, my project was a stunning success far beyond my expectations. It's December 10, 2021 today and I have the greenest, healthiest looking grass on the entire street! I have now stocked up on Barenbrug RPR and Barenbrug Turf Blue Pro KBG for the 2022 season to be ready for anything - armyworms, dog pee, thin and bald spots, overseeding after leveling, fall overseeding, etc.

I ordered the Barenbrug RPR but was accidentally sent the Turf Blue Pro. I contacted customer service and they said that they would correct the mistake immediately. Unfortunately they did not have the RPR in stock and my seeding window was closing so I was not able to wait for it to be restocked. I decided to keep the bluegrass and was offered a full refund. The grass has germinated is growing great so the only review I can give for this product is that the customer service was fantastic.

Great product

Third time using this seed. I used it twice prior when overseeding my existing lawn with great results. This year was the first time I used it to establish a new lawn with 100% this seed. Germination was in 5 days and I had my first mow by day 12. It comes in very light green initially, however absorbs iron products and gets darker than KBG with a beautiful silvery tone and stripes easily. It is the softest grass I have ever felt. This will always be my go-to product.
