    Q
I've purchased the TVC & surfactant products. I own a 2 gal chapin sprayer.
I want to use the product around the edges of my yard so that I don't need to use a weed eater. My total square footage of my yard is 3500 sq ft. I would like to know how much of each product I would need to put in 2 gallons of water to do the job.
    A
You would use roughly just under 1 ounce of the TVC per 1000 sq/ft in no less than 2 gallons of water.   For the Non-Ionic Surfactant that you apply t 0.25% to 1% of the total spray volume (0.25% v/v is equivalent to 1 quart in 100 gallons) in accordance with the surfactant labeling.

    Q
I have a big problem with weigela which product to use tvc/fertilome ?
The back of my land is covered up with Weigela and I mean out of control like taking over very large oak trees & choking them dead . I have tried com. roundup it just slows it down . Will your product do any good ?

TVC might harm the trees if oversprayed. You can use a product called Monterey Weed IMpede. This product is labeled to treat Weigela, but it is a Pre emergent. If you are looking for a post emergent we recommend contacting your master gardener at Your Local Cooperative Extension Office. Once you have been given a recommendation that wil work in your area, we can ship the products to you.
