Bifen IT is a great product for white flies but only kills those insects that contact a treated surface. It is not a kill on contact and will take time. You can apply every 7 days, if needed, but usually once a month. Are you use you are dealing with whiteflies and not something like sod webworm and the adult moths. Whiteflies are typically on ornamentals more than lawns.

Bifen IT is one of the most popular products for whiteflies but you may need to repeat applications to maintain control. It can be applied every 7 days as needed for active infestations, then once a month for maintenance. In addition to a foliar spray with Bifen, using a systemic product such as Adonis 2F to control whiteflies has proven to be effective.
