Merit Granules can be used for trees but is only labeled to treat white grubs when used for tree applications. Granules don't go very deep in the soil and work best for shallow rooted plants and turf. For trees the liquid Merit 2F Insecticide would be a better option to use following the instructions on the product label for a soil drench application.
