    I recently ordered 2 Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb - 36 Watt, Are these different from bulbs with a plastic shield over them?
    For safety reasons, we need to have a rubber coating over all of our glass bulbs, in the event of shattering. Is their documentation that these can never shatter, or did I receive the wrong bulbs?

    Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb - 36 Watt - Single has a plastic shield over the glass bulbs to prevent shattering.  The bulb itself has a sticker stating "Safety Coated" on it.

    Is the protective coating supposed to be taken off the Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb after installation?
