Replacement bulb for Vector Plasma screened or grill fly system. This replacement bulb is Vector model 20-1081. Measures 16" x 1.5" x 0.9". The Vector Plasma uses two of these bulbs. Fits Vector Plasma fly lights only. Lamps should be replaced every 12 months as the amount of UV light diminishes over time.

For safety reasons, we need to have a rubber coating over all of our glass bulbs, in the event of shattering. Is their documentation that these can never shatter, or did I receive the wrong bulbs?
Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb - 36 Watt - Single has a plastic shield over the glass bulbs to prevent shattering. The bulb itself has a sticker stating "Safety Coated" on it.
No, you should not remove the protective sleeve on the Vector Plasma Shatterproof Bulb.
