2lb per 500 sqft?!? Is that right for Vexis Herbicide Granular?
Is that a typo or do you really have to use 2 pounds of product for only 500 square feet?

How long before / after seeding can Vexis Hervicide Granules be applied? I need it to spot kill nutgrass.
I used sledghammer but unsure got it all.

According to the label, Vexis Herbicide Granular you should wait until the second mowing to apply to new sod or seeds and 3 weeks after application to seed or sod.

Will Vexis Herbicide Granular have any affect on clover?
I am inundated with clover. Nothing seems to work except what will set my St. Augustine back. Will Vexis help with this clover problem?

Vexis Herbicide Granular is not labeled to control clover. Clover is best treated when it just emerges as once it flowers it is almost impossible to kill. Atrazine is always on an option for St Augustine. Weed Free Zone is another option if you do not have floratam or bitterblue variety. Dep…

Vexis Herbicide Granular is not labeled to control clover. Clover is best treated when it just emerges as once it flowers it is almost impossible to kill. Atrazine is always on an option for St Augustine. Weed Free Zone is another option if you do not have floratam or bitterblue variety. Depending on the type of clover you have a pre-emergent like Gallery is a great option to prevent it coming up. We also have helpful guides here that can help.

Can Vexis Herbicide be applied on bermuda that was sodded 3 weeks ago?
I thought another product had killed my nutsedge so I dug out the area and sodded celebration bermuda. Turns out the "dead" nutsedge enjoyed the daily watering more than the new grass so although the sod has done well the nutsedge is just as healthy and better established.

It is best not to apply products until your lawn is well established, which typically means that it has been mowed at least twice. Per the Vexis Herbicide Granular Product Label: "Delay application of this product until 3 weeks after sodding, sprigging or plugging operations".

Will Vexis hurt drift rose bushes?
If we use granular s in a flowerbed with drift roes will effect bushes

A

Per the Vexis Herbicide Product Label: Do not apply directly to flowers, vegetables, ground covers, gardens or landscape plantings including ornamental shrubs or trees. We would not recommend using this product in flower beds, this is strictly to be used in your lawn.

Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, a master list does not currently exist with that data. You will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this below.

What should the setting on my Scott's spreader be to use this herbicide? And how much to treat 5,000 sq ft?

Unfortunately, we do not have the spreader settings for that specific combo, and since the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag we are unsure what the exact setting would be. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, there isn't a master list that exists. You may want to try calling the manufacturer of your spreader or the chemical itself directly, to see if anyone on their staff has that info. Otherwise, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this below.

Vexis Herbicide Granular is not available in a liquid formulation however Arkon Herbicide could be a liquid formulation containing the same active ingredient, Pyrimisulfan. Please view the Arkon Herbicide product label for application rates more information.

To avoid injury to improved varieties of St. Augustinegrass or Centipedegrass, apply Vexis Herbicide Granular when night-time temperatures are above 50
