I was somewhat skeptical when I first purchased this and thought I would give it a try as sedge is a real problem in our area, not just for golf courses, but also on private lawns. I selected a small test plot to try and spread the Vexis fairly freely onto the plot. After a few days I saw no change and thought, "darn...another product that does not work on sedge." However, two weeks later, the entire plot of sedge is almost gone. I noted it turning slightly yellow after about 8 days. The key is to keep it watered in and mowed. We mow this plot three times a week and so it was getting cut consistently. It will be interesting to see IF this is a permanent kill for the sedge. Hoping so. Would recommend this product.

Product was not in tack when i received it.

When I received my Vexis herbicide in the mail, the lid had come off during shipment and lost half of the product. The postal worker brought my package to my door and said that there was granular pellets coming out of the package. When i opened the package the lid was off and there was granular pellets every where. Need to seal the lids before shipping it out.

Great product! Definitely recommend!

Bought this product to specifically target dollarweed and sedge. Saw minimal change for the first few weeks but, give it time to work! It has now been alittle over a month and the sedge is gone and the dollarweed is not far behind. Great product and will definitely buy again.

Worked Great

I have had Nutsedge in my yard for years now and the pros have put tons of chemicals to try and get rid of it. However, with just one application and a little patience this product got rid of it all. I am very very pleased with the product.

Not impressed

Applied to a customers lawn at the suggested rate of 174lb/acre about a month ago. Saw minimal kill since applied to both my and my customers frustration. Will be returning to customers lawn to apply a different herbicide. Definitely wont purchase again.

I have been fighting Nutsedge in my lawn for at least 15 years. I have used every weed killer from every lawn, garden and hardware store in Phoenix. I finally came upon a forum where someone praised Vexis Herbicide to get rid of this pesky weed. I tried it towards the end of grass growing season last year. I was afraid the Nutsedge would go dormant before being killed. The herbicide appeared to be working, but I was not certain until this year when my grass began to come back to life. NO MORE NUTSEDGE. My experience: follow the directions, use the correct amount per area, be patient and let it do its job.

Had an area of about 3000 sf heavily infested with nutsedge and I applied Vexis last year and began to notice a difference within a few weeks (I don't recall exactly). We were in a drought and uniformly watering it in was difficult for me. I did come back with a second application and it really made a difference. It does seem to take a lot of product to cover an area as large as I've got but it does give results. I've been watching this spring and the only areas I see any nutsedge as of now is along the curb where uniform application is more difficult with the granular. I am going to spray some liquid active this spring for a different mode of action but if there is another outbreak or reappearance, I will come back for more. I recommended to my brother for his yard and he has had good results with Vexis also.

Treated my nut grass (sedge) about 2 weeks ago and noticed some yellowing. My neighbors and I have had an invasion of nut sedge in our established St Augustine lawns. I notice big patches of it and then one or two sprigs in various areas so it looks like my whole lawn may have to be treated. I hope this stuff works that sedge is ugly and hard to get rid of and spreads fast! Trying it on the big patches first. ~PAM

Sedge Killer

I have a Bermuda 419 lawn and I have always been troubled with certain grassy weeds mostly sedge that sticks out and makes my lawn look less attractive. I have tried other post emergent products that work but also hurt the bermuda grass. When I first read about Vexis Herbicide Granular I was hesitant in purchasing because of the low price. Well let me tell you my yard now looks like a golf course fairway.
