This was my first time ordering this trap and I couldn't be more pleased with construction and ease of use. Worth the money!

These traps work exceptionally well. They effectively eliminate bait stealing by small mice or those with tendencies to nibble. The trap is actuated differently than other traps on the market. I have caught many mice with this trap and all were cleanly killed. I have never found the trap sprung without catching a mouse. I have a hard time understanding the complaints posted here of mice being partially caught and suffering since the bait door must be lifted by the mouse in order to activate the striking mechanism. A mouse that lifts the door while rooting for the bait is directly beneath the striker.

This trap is the best we've had. Tried glue, original victor wood trap, electronic, etc. Mice are filthy, disease carrying rodents. This trap kills them every time.

I've tried many different styles of traps, but this one has had the best ratio of trips to catch mice of them all. Some other styles either go off too easy, snapping if something brushes it and catching nothing or coming down on just a leg leaving a live rodent trapped. Others get their bait stolen half the time without tripping. These I've never had the bait stolen without catching something and it always crushes the rodents head when it trips. The mouse may twitch for a few seconds after the trap springs but its already dead, the body just does not know it yet.
