If you have purchased Termidor SC from us and completed the proper trench treatment around the foundation of your home (outlined in the guide below) then that is all the protection you would need to do. Treating the surface of the soil with a liquid or granule in your lawn will not prevent or keep termites away. Termites in their natural environment are actually beneficial insects and most homeowners have them in their yard without ever knowing it as everything is in balance. If you know where a particular colony or activity of termites in the soil is in a particular area you can always drench the soil in that spot with a product like Talstar P. Termite Treatment Guide
