What happens if you give humming birds nectar without adding water

I put nectar in 1 feeder but did not know I had to add water I saw a humming bird drink from the feeder.

Answer:

The Pennington Natural Springs Hummingbird Nectar Ready to Use does not need water added to it. The product label of this item states, "Shake well. Pennington Hummingbird ElectroNectar is ready to use. Do not add sugar or water. No mixing required." The concentrated version of this product would need to have water added, but the Ready to Use version does not.
