Arrest Max Herbicide and Grass Out Max Herbicide are two products that are commonly used to control grasses and grassy weeds in areas with ornamental plants, flowers, trees, or broadleaf plants such as clover. For any broadleaf or woody vine type of weeds or plants growing within the clover, the only option is hand removal or careful spot treatments with roundup or similar non selective chemicals. You would not be able to broadcast spray over the top of the clover to kill thistles or other similar weeds without also harming the clover. Grass control is the only over the top selective option you would have.
