What is the effect when Tordon RTU Specialty Herbicide is killing a tree?

I know from reading how to get this stuff in a tree to start killing it!!! But how then after? What are the effects? Does it start crumbling and falling down to the ground? So if there stuff near the tree or trees I want gone. What could happen?

Answer:

After treating a stump with Tordon RTU Specialty Herbicide, the tree should be completely dead within one week to 30 days. After a few days, Tordon should have affected the tree enough to remove the stump or root. It does not crumble or dissolve into the ground; you will need to physically remove the dead stump.

Keep in mind that Tordon RTU is not for use on any residential areas. This product has a very long soil residual, so it should not be applied near desirable trees, shrubs, or other ornamentals.
