For home use, I have just a few Apricot trees and are using only a 1 gal. hand sprayer to control Brown Rot Blossom Blight. Instructions call for, 4 Fl. oz. per acre, min 15 gal. per acre. 15 gal. of water? Hence (1 / 15) * (4 US fluid ounces) = 0.26 oz. of PPZ 41.8 per 1 gal.? Is that right?
Prime Source PPZ 41.8 Select Fungicide is labeled for Brown Rot Blossom Blight at 4 oz per acre, this is usually applied with 15-100 gallons of water. So you could use anywhere from 0.04 to 0.3 to 1 gallon of water. Keep in mind water is just the carrier so you use the labeled rate in however much water it takes you to cover the 1000 sqft.
