Alligare Triclopyr 4 Herbicide can be used to control susceptible vines with less than 2 inch diameter stems. This product is intended for larger scale applications such as forests, grass pastures, rangeland, non-crop areas, ornamental turf, industrial sites and ditchbanks. The application rate is 4 to 8 quarts of Alligare Triclopyr 4 in 2 to 3 gallons of crop oil concentrate or other recommended oil. You then, add this mixture to enough water to make 100 gallons of spray solution. Continuous agitation is needed to maintain mix and apply 70 to 100 gallons per acre. For smaller applications or for treating home lawns, Bonide Poison Ivy and Brush Killer BK-32 Concentrate is labeled for poison ivy at the rate of 2 fl oz to 4 fl oz per 1000 sq ft depending on if you have Northern or Southern turfgrass.
