What is the recommended rate of MSM Turf Herbicide along with a surfactant to kill Virginia buttonweed in fescue?

Answer:

You will use 0.5 to 1.0 oz of MSM Turf Herbicide per acre for control of Virginia buttonweed. Per the product label, a subsequent application after 4-6 weeks may be needed. This breaks down to approx 0.005 to 0.01 oz per 1 gallon.  If you only have a small area you can spot treat.  If it is all over the lawn it is best to broadcast.  You would use the 0.01 oz per gallon for spot treating. Please read the label for full application instructions.
