The Chapin Professional Hose-end Sprayer with Metering Dial (G362D) is a great device, however it would not be what you can use for your specific chemical application needs. You will ideally need to use a tank sprayer of some variety to mix the solution and spray the correct amount of herbicide over the correct square footage. The Chapin Hose End unit does not have a setting that will meet your needs. If 1 gallon covers 500 sq/ft, you can use a 1 gallon tank 4 times to cover 2000 sq/ft, a 2 gallon tank twice, or a 4 gallon tank once to spray the whole 2000 sq/ft space.
