I had some foster kittens in my garage temporarily that were not treated for fleas. The kittens are fostered out to new homes now, but unfortunately, I discovered that my garage is infested with fleas. My garage is attached to my home but there isn’t a direct doorway into my home from the garage. It is not heated, and the floor is unsealed concrete. I tried just spraying the floor with the same product I used in my grass, but it only killed the live adult fleas I am assuming. My yard has no flea activity but my garage is still infested. I did spray with Precor 2000 about 2 weeks ago and it only seems like the fleas have gotten worse. I did see that there needs to be activity in this area but we do not use the garage often since the fleas have come about. I will start to vacuum more often and apply another Precor 2000 treatment. Do you have any suggestions for other products that I can use in an area such as this??
Be sure to clean out the garage and vacuum daily (discarding of contents immediately after away from the home) as well as applying your second application of Precor 2000 Plus 2000 Premise Spray two weeks after the initial application (remove vehicles and anything else on the floor surfaces and vacuum prior to treatment). Here is our flea treatment guide for additional information.
