Kangaroo Rats are most commonly found in the west and unfortunately there are no rodenticides labeled specifically for this species. We would recommend using gassers like the Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser if you can locate their outdoor burrows. Otherwise, you can use Rat Traps or something like the EZ Snap Rodent Bait Station, which includes a color coded zip tie that indicates when the trap has been tripped and it keeps untargeted animals safe whether you use it indoors and/or outdoors.
