Found a kickout hole and "pepper grains" below it. I believe it is from termites. We live in Minnesota so I am not positive but it matched what I found on the internet. Enlarged kickout hole with a drill, sprayed foam Termidor. Result was a whole lot of dead ants. I had never even seen an ant in that room until they all died (no dead termites). Did about six other holes and sprayed the foam. For three days had so many little brown/black dead ants. Quiet for about 5 days. Today, I see that the kick out hole is reopened and the little "pepper grains" are starting to come out again. Do I have termites and the ants were just collateral damage? Do ants make kickout holes? Should I reapply Termidor within a week of my first application?
After making your first application of Termidor FOAM in wall voids another application can not be made for 6 weeks. Termidor is a residual product and can take weeks for full results.
