When should i apply Caravan G Insecticide Fungicide to treat active brown patch in my lawn in Central Alabama?

Answer:

Caravan G Insecticide Fungicide should be applied when the conditions for either target insects or target diseases are likely to develop. Brown Patch develops when there is prolonged heat and humidity, warmer temperatures at night and extended time that dew remains on the turf. If brown patch has caused damage in the past, closley monitor the lawn when weather conditions are present for development.  Caravan G Insecticide Fungicide is applied at 2.0- 2.8 lbs per 1000 sq ft. Per the product label this application should be followed up with an application of Heritage G or Headway G 14-21 days after the Caravan G application if needed.  Please view our Brown Patch Treatment Guide for more information.
