I am wanting to plant a vegetable garden in an area that has become overrun with purple sedge - can I get rid of the sedge using 24-d and if so can I follow up and use the area to grow vegetables?
Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer is not labeled to control sedge. What you could use instead is a glyphosate type product that will kill anything. The GlyPhoSel Pro would be a good option and will break down in the soil within about 1 week after its sprayed on the weeds/grasses
