Yes, CB-40 Aerosol will kill adult drain flies that are flying around the kitchen. You will still need to treat the source of the drain flies which is usually a sink or floor drain that has decaying organic matter that has built up and provided an area that is suitable for this pest to lay eggs and for the larva to develop. Along with an adulticide such as CB-40, using Drain Gel and Gentrol IGR is usually required to control a drain fly infestation.
