Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer is not labeled to kill sandburs. There are only a few post emergents labeled for them such as Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate & Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer. Sandburs are best controlled with pre emergent applications in late fall and early spring prior to weed germination. Pendulum 2G Granular Herbicide and Ike's Sandbur and Crabgrass Preventer are both labeled for pre emergent control of sandbur.
