I am looking to spray around areas where PA smartweed and several others are starting to take over. I also have pachysandra beds they have small clover sprouting. Can I spray and spare the pachysandra?
No, EndRun Herbicide with Trimec should not be applied around any desirable ornamentals, shrubs, flowers, etc as it can potentiall kill or injure desirables. This product should only be applied to established turfgrass as directed including the following species: Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, Bermudagrass, Zoysiagrass, and Bentgrass. We suggest applying a pre-emergent herbicide prior to weed germination such as Snapshot 2.5 TG Granules. For actively growing weeds around desirable plants, flowers, shrubs, ornamentals, etc, it is recommended to carefully spot treat with a non-selective herbicide such as Roundup QuickPRO or manually remove by hand pulling and filling in bare spots (with mulch for example).
