Essentria IC3 should not pose any harm to any surface if applied as directed on the product label. As always, we suggest that you test a smaller inconspicuious area first. The product should be mixed at 2 to 8 ounces per gallon of water and applied at the rate of 2 gallons per 1000 square feet or until area is thoroughly wet. Essentria IC3 does have an outdoor residual of 30 days and 90 days indoors. It safe to use around water, unlike most other insecticides that are prohibited near the water because of the risk of contaminating the water and harming aquatic animals. You will need to repeat the application once a month through the warm season.
