Will a fall application of Sevin Lawn Pest Granules around my apple tree help control apple maggots?

Answer:

Sevin Insecticide Granules are not labeled for use around apple trees. Sevin Concentrate can be used for apple maggots as a curative. The rate is 3 fl oz per gallon of water.
