Will Framework 3.3 EC Herbicide stop the growth of sandbur or grassburs? When is the best time to apply in South Central Texas?

If not this product, what do you suggest? Thanks

Framework 3.3 EC Herbicide is labeled to prevent field sandburs, however, as stated on our site, "Framework 3.3 EC is labeled for agricultural use only.  It CAN NOT be used on residential lawns." Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions. For the best timing on when to apply a pre emergent in your specific region, we would suggest contacting your local cooperative extension office to speak with your Master Gardener for a recommended time. If you are treating a residential lawn, we would be more than happy to make a proper recommendation to you instead, but we will need just a little more information.
