I spot treated last year and my yard was clear of GG this year, it's all over the yard !
Dismiss Turf Herbicide works as a post emergent to control goosegrass, it does not prevent weeds from germinating. Goosegrass is better controlled when treated at the early stages of growth. Once this weed has matured, it is a lot harder to control with selective herbicides.
Pre emergent applications with Dimension 2EW in spring will help to prevent goosegrass from germinating therefore cutting back on post emergent treatments the growing season.
