Will Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) kill my clearfield sunflower seeds in a field while trying to kill grasses and other weeds?

Answer:

Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) can be used around established sunflowers to kill actively growing grasses however will not have any affect on broadleaf weeds. Also, being a post emergent herbicide there is no affect on seeds in the soil that have not yet germinated. A surfactant or crop oil concentrate is recommended to be used in the tank for best results.
