Will Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer kill Chamber bitter in St. Augustine grass?

Answer:

Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is not specifically labeled for chamberbitter. This is a very stubborn weed. Pre emergent applications with a product like Isoxaben 75 WG have proven to be the most effective way to control this weed. Research from several extension pages do suggest the use of Atrazine for this weed, but we are not able to guarantee its effectiveness. Also keep in mind given how persistent and pesky chamberbitter is, there is no one and done solution to take care of the weed so repeat application may have to take place in order to fully kill the invaders.
