Will Martin's Permethrin 13.3% kill flea eggs in my yard and on my dog?

My backyard and dog is infested with fleas. I mixed according to the direction the container. How often should I spray my dog and yard? And will this spray kill flea eggs as well? I do not know what to do.

Answer:

Martin's Permethrin 13.3% will not kill any eggs, only the young and adults that contact a treated area.  Per the product label it can be applied to dogs as a dip, spray or sponged on the animal. Dilute 8 oz. in 16.5 gal. water and thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying. Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling. Gives long lasting protection against reinfestation. Apply at intervals of 2 to 3 weeks. Sensitivies may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water.
