Eric from Lawrence, Ma writes

Will I negate my stump treatment of Rodeo by grinding them months later?

In January we treated a large number of Ailanthus Tree stumps with a spray on application of Rodeo. We are trying to replant the area with some new trees, but there is a large amount of woody debris impeding us. We are considering renting a machine to grind down the woody debris, but are worried that doing so might impede the action of the herbicide. Would three months have been enough for it to all soak in to the Ailanthus roots?

Answer:

Rodeo Herbicide would not be affecting the tree after that much time so you can go ahead and grind the stumps.
