If not, how do I kill Bald Cypress with Remedy?
Remedy Ultra Herbicide is not labeled to control bald cypress or any cypress trees. This product also does not have labeling for use in aquatic areas where these trees are typically found. Due to the fast growth rate and unique nature of bald cypress, we recommend you contact an experienced arborist for assistance with this tree. Removal will usually require grinding the roots, which can be quite disturbing to the surrounding area if residential. Keep in mind these trees may be protected in your area depending on where they are found and the water level in that area. We recommend contacting your local Cooperative Extension for further assistance. You can find your local office here.
