I have heard that Celsius will kill Torpedo grass, but it isn't labeled. Your website recommends Solitare for Torpedo grass in centipede lawns. I have also read where Sethoxydim is used on centipede to kill Torpedo grass. Is there any product on the market that will control Torpedo grass without killing the centipede grass?
Solitare Herbicide is labeled to suppress torpedograss in centipede lawns, but may not eradicate it completely. Most of the herbicides on the market will only suppress the torpedograss for a short time. It is recommended to spot treat the torpedo grass with a non-selective herbicide such as Round Up Quick Pro and then reseed or sod in the treated areas.
