Someone told me that "fly powder" will kill rats. I went to the local mill and asked for fly powder and was given Starbar Golden Malrin. It is in crystal form. If sprinkled in & around rat hole entry-ways will it work to kill these rats, or is "fly powder" something altogether different?
We apologize, we cannot recommend any fly powder for killing rats as it is not labeled for that use. You can contact Zoecon 800-248-7763 to see if their Golden Marlin fly bait can be used for killing rats. We would recommend to seal the holes with Stuff it Copper Mesh and use the T- Rex snap traps or Protecta Rat Bait Stations with a rodenticide like Fastrac Blox to kill the rats.
