Yesterday i discorvered dirt coming out of my basement wall i had just painted. Stuck to the wall was the mud tunnel filled with small termite larvae. Maybe just small termites i don't know for sure? I think they maybe in the wood doorway frame. Does the wood have to get cut and removed or will the taurus sc kill the termite colony and my doorway is safe? They could be formosan termites or subterranean, i am not sure. Its an old house almost 90 years and the walls in that area get damp if it rains hard
Yes, Taurus SC is labeled for Formosan termites. It is recommended that you do a trench treatment around the structure. If you have seen activity in specific areas, it is safe to inject the product in the wood.
