Will this stop Poa Annua from germinating?

Will this stop Poa Annua from germinating, or is it only for killing weeds after they germinate and are growing?

Answer:

Prime Source Quinclorac 1.5L Select Herbicide is a post-emergent that will only kill weeds that have already germinated. It will not kill Poa Annua, though. Could you let us know what kind of grass you have? It will help us determine whether or not there is a post-emergent for Poa Annua that is safe for your lawn.
