The majority of the turf is bermuda, not sure of the type. I do not want to kill the bermuda turf, but the stilt grass is the main target.
Unfortunately, Japanese stiltgrass is not only extremely difficult to control with most chemicals, but it is also similar in plant structure to bermudagrass. This means if a product controls the stiltgrass, then it has the potential to damage, suppress or kill the bermudagrass that its sprayed on as well. This is the case with Acclaim Extra Selective Herbicide. Most customers will spot treat the stiltgrass with RoundUp and reseed with the desireable turfgrass to help reduce the chances of it coming back.
