Would Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) be helpful against hawks?

We have some raptors picking off our chickens. I'm looking for an ethical way to repel them from my property. Would this work?

Per the manufacturer, the Bird Barrier bird Gard 110v Pro 2 (sd-bg42) does include hawks as a target species, however, the Bird Barrier Bird Gard 110v Pro 1 (sd-bg40) does not.
